On Saturday I shot my last wedding (#21) of 2009…. and it was the perfect way to wrap up my wedding season. I first met Jim & Tanya a couple of months ago when we met up to do their engagement session. Photographing them was a breeze and I was crazy about how the images turned out, so I’ve really been looking forward to photographing them again at their wedding. See, the thing about Jim & Tanya is that they’ve been together since high school (over 10 years!), and it is SO SO SO evident that they simply adore each other. On Saturday, they focused on enjoying each other and not stressing about all the details, timelines and all the busy buzz going on around them…. and I loved that. They were happy to snuggle as long as necessary for pictures, and then some more =) I had a beautiful sunny day + a gorgeous, loving couple… I really could have photographed them all day!
I met up with the girls downtown at Made You Blush for make-up, then over to the Delta to finish getting ready.
Tanya had all of her jewellery custom-made by Christine of Christine’s Creations (in Riverview, NB) and it was PERFECT. You can check out her site at www.christinescreations.info
Jim had an awesome reaction to seeing Tanya for the first time…
It was so convenient to find this green wall to coordinate with their color scheme!

I loved this spot too!

Then we met up with their fabulous group…
Jim’s nephew, Evan totally stole my heart…
And just a couple more before heading inside Kingswood Lodge for their beautiful candlelit ceremony…

They had AMAZING details at the reception, also held right there at the always gorgeous Kingswood Lodge…

My assistant, Kristina & I got to sit at the kids table!! We had a great time coloring with their nieces & nephew’s!

There is still another bunch of FUN images to share from this wedding soon, so keep checking in!!
